Non-Insulated Needles for UltraVision™ Providers

Non-Insulated Needles are Officially Back in Stock
UltraVision™ owners can purchase non-insulated needles for use with their device, providing additional flexibility when selecting the appropriate needle configuration for each treatment.
Understanding Insulated vs. Non-Insulated Needles
The primary difference between insulated and non-insulated needles is where RF energy is delivered from the needle.
Insulated Needles
With insulated needles, RF energy is emitted at the distal 0.3 mm of the needle, while the remainder of the needle features an insulating coating. This allows providers to deliver energy in a more controlled and targeted manner at the selected treatment depth, helping providers direct energy to the intended target.
Non-Insulated Needles
With non-insulated needles, RF energy is delivered throughout the entirety of the needle, creating a different energy delivery profile. Non-insulated needles can address multiple treatment targets within a single pass, allowing providers to approach adipose tissue, collagen induction, and resurfacing within the same treatment. This offers providers an alternative treatment option, especially when they need to deliver energy across a broader area. Understanding the difference between these needle configurations can help providers determine which option best aligns with their treatment approach and treatment area.
For UltraVision™ Owners
UltraVision™ providers also have the option to purchase these needles for additional treatment flexibility. With UltraVision’s ultrasound assisted technology, providers can evaluate tissue characteristics and use that information to help guide treatment parameters. Having both needle options available provides additional flexibility when developing treatment approaches for different patients and treatment areas.
Choosing the Right Needle Configuration
Having multiple needle configurations available gives providers additional flexibility when planning treatments based on the individual patient, treatment area, and desired energy-delivery approach.
