RECAP OF WEBINAR: “Building Your Aesthetic Practice by Maximizing Device Utilization”
We want to thank you all so much for those who attended last week’s webinar! It was a huge success and the questions we received were thought-provoking enough, we figured everyone would benefit in receiving a recap of the Q&A portion.
How long after a surgical procedure (ex: Mohs surgical scar) should you wait to start Ultravision™ Treatments?
While we always recommend checking with the provider that performed the procedure and your medical director, the sooner treatment is started, typically the better the results. The wound needs to be fully healed, no longer open or sutured, but starting treatment while the scar is still pink has been seen in practice to yield the most clinically significant results!
Can you use Exosomes in SoME®?
We are in the testing stages, but we have successfully preserved exosomes in the SoME® Cosmetic Base serum using mesenchymal stem cells! SoME® has been proven to increase the luminosity and appearance of the skin on its own, when paired with PRP or exosomes, the possibilities are limitless!
Is it better to treat skin laxity at the beginning or later on in the progress of weight loss?
Laxity post weight loss can be sneaky. The sooner collagen stimulating treatments are started, the more laxity can be avoided! Your patient does not need to wait until they have severe laxity to start treatments and strengthen their skin. Prevention is key!
What are some examples of a light chemical peel being paired with UltraVision™?
When practices consider pairing chemical peels with UltraVision™, they typically are trying to target pigment as part of the combination therapy. Some providers have had great success with peels such as a plain TCA peel with a lower percentage or the VI Peel, to name a couple but any chemical peel that your practice deems to consider as a light peel may be an option, just remember to talk to your medical director prior to combining these same day!
Which combo therapies go well with UltraVision™?
Whether you are wanting to optimize results or maximize efficiency, combo treatments can be an excellent strategy. For example, we have practices combining the Reverso for topical skin resurfacing with the UltraVision™ for dermal remodeling is a strong combination for targeting both the epidermis and dermis. When you have done both treatments separately on your patient and their responses have room for even stronger results, this is when you may consider speaking with your medical director about stacking treatments same day! Some combinations we have seen in practice include combining chemical peels, exfoliation, resurfacing, fat reduction, lasers, and more!
What does the UltraVision™ do again?
UltraVision™ is the premium experience of safety and efficacy for both clinicians and patients. The first of its kind to provide imaging of exact dermal and epidermal thickness to the provider for every patient that they treat. Not only does the visualization provide measurements, it also provides an insight to the density of the tissue. The appearance of density or lack there of can enlighten the provider on how much collagen and elastin is in the area and allows to track progress as this improves over a series of interventions.
When it comes to safety, the Vision imaging technology sets this device apart from all other RF devices. When it comes to patient-tailored, results-driven treatments, the UltraVision™ speaks for itself. This powerful device has customization options when it comes to RF Level, RF Time, and mHz as well as 6 different needle set options, making is a dream come true for helping your patients reach their goals.
What about Reverso?
Reverso's fractionally ablative energy delivery is the perfect recipe for resurfacing. Three different assortments of energy delivery cartridges allow the provider options to cover more or less surface area. With the energy delivery spread of up to 176 micro-contact points, this treatment is completed very efficiently. The interface of the device is simple and user friendly, offering the ability to change density and intensity of the energy delivery to make the treatment the most effective for your patient. This device focuses the energy delivery to the superficial layers of skin which in turn results in increased cell turn over and wound healing response. This "Outside -> In" approach yields quick noticeable results to the patient by stimulating the rebuilding of the surface of the skin to be stronger and healthier than ever.
What was the Elite NS again?
Indiba's Elite is where relaxation and medical aesthetics collide. Through the warming and healing frequency of 448kHz the proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells is triggered, circulation is increased and inflammation is abolished. Finally, a treatment that feels good to the receiving patient and has visible results. While many of the results of this device are seen quickly- such as the reduction in cellulite, bloating through stimulation of peristalsis and even reduction of bruising, many of the benefits of this device are even deeper in the body. There have been countless cases reported of reduction in pain from injuries or chronic illnesses, musculoskeletal and inflammatory disorders can experience very efficient relief. With these quickly observed results, you may ask, what about in the long term? The nature of this device is that it also is stimulating changes over the long haul- stem cells, collagen and elastin, wound healing and angiogenesis, just to name a few.
CryoTouch.. What is that??
Your practices secret, not so secret weapon. The magic with CryoTouch MD is its propulsion of cryotherapy to drive your products deeper into the tissue. Through the Bohr effect, the pH of the skin is temporarily lowered by the presence of CO2. This in turn not only increases circulation and permeability, it also stimulates collagen and fibroblasts.
This strategy allows topical anesthetic to take effect quicker and more effectively, which is a game changer for ROI and patient comfort. This nifty device can also do so much more than just numbing; from applying your favorite medical grade skin care to Cryotouch's own proprietary post treatment line and trichocyte hair regeneration program, there is a way to enhance the experience on every patient you treat with CryoTouch MD.
